Round 1 plays (4pts):

Boo Weekley to beat Danny Lee +100 @ 5Dimes
This looks a good opportunity to oppose Lee who won last week's Greenbrier Classic after a playoff and has now playing in next week's Open Championship as a result. That will be his 10th event in 11 weeks, so fatigue must surely be a factor as will motivation if he doesn't has a fast start in this event. His record here reads mc-30th-mc, so a fast start looks unlikely. I'm surprised that he is not preparing for next week in Scotland, so I will gladly oppose him at these odds with a player who finished 8th last time out, is not playing in the Open Championship next week and has a better record on this course.

Stewart Cink to beat David Toms +103 @ Pinnacle [also available @ 5Dimes, The Greek and Carib]
I'm surprised to see Cink as a clear underdog in this matchup. He has finished ahead of Toms in five of seven common events since March and he has regularly chosen to play in this event - three times in the last four years, whereas it is three times in the last fourteen years for Toms.

Round 2 plays (2pts):

Brian Campbell to beat Bryson DeChambeau -140 @ 5Dimes
Opposing DeChambeau who fully warrants his 144th position on the leaderboard - he ranks 149th in greens in regulation. Campbell followed up his 27th place finish in the U.S. Open with a top-10 finish on the Web.com Tour last week, so he is in far better form than the amateur.

Brian Harman to beat Danny Lee -113 @ Pinnacle [also available @ 5Dimes, The Greek and Carib]
The same reasons as for the 1st round play aganst Lee. The afternoon players averaged just over half a shot better than the morning players yesterday, but he is still back in 37th place. A poor start and he will be far better prepared for next week's Major by missing the cut.

Harris English to beat Justin Thomas +125 @ SkyBet [also available @ Paddy Power]
Opposing the 1st round leader. This is the first time that Thomas has been in this position on the PGA Tour, but on the three occasions that he has been in this position after two rounds, he failed to break 70 in the next round.

[unofficial rd2 system play: McNeill tb Bohn -120]

for round 2, playing:

Byrd -130 vs Van Pelt

These guys really had different rounds yesterday - after making birdie at 1, Van Pelt did not make another the rest of the day - he hit 64% of his fairways and 55% of his greens and putted poorly on top of that to shoot 4 over 75 - Byrd on the other hand played solidly (@ 78% fairways and GIR) and made 4 birdies along the way before a lone bogey at the tough 18th, which played as the toughest hole of the day (tied for toughest with the 9th actually)

This is the type of course where players generally go pretty low, so Van Pelt's 75 stands out to me and imo is evidence that he has some pretty serious problems with his game right now - will take a situation where both players reverse their form from yesterday pretty dramatically for there to be a different outcome to this matchup than there was in round 1

As always, good luck no matter which golfers you choose,

felt like I should note that there was a decent sized line drop of close to 15 cents just after I posted this play - not necessarily making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside but going to ride it out anyhow
