They very well may. MSU has talent and is capable of hanging with most teams, which tells me there's a real coaching problem at MSU. The difference between a good coach and a bad coach is that the good coach puts away teams like Illinois. They don't let thier teams lose focus during the week and look ahead or dwell on the past.
