Hey man....when you get a chance this week to look over the games I'd really like your input on Wash St./Ore St game.......Wazzou comes up a pretty big play for me laying the small wood on the road, but just concerned of a little letdown after that tough loss to USC. Vegas puts them as fav's though here which is a good thing I feel....if they were dogs I wouldn't touch the game. I know you know the Pac-10 extremely well....get back to me when you can. Thanks!!

I know im not johnny B but I follow cougs very closely and this would be tuff game to cap b/c not only coming off usc game but reser is usually tuff to play at .. LY cougs absouletly shouldve beaten beavs there, handed them game in galling ats loss--i was on cougs ... but beavs waxed by Cal not that unexpected since cal is so good ... who bounces back and plays for potential bowl game here? huge win for either program in that regard ... cougs have played 2 of best teams in nation, and also some patsies; beavs have also played cal and boise st and 2 other jokes ... teams pretty well matched up here

love cougs so Im a lil tainted, but I would not be surprised to see Baves win by 10

I think that WSU is in a similar situation to Michigan State last week. Laying it all out there against a top ranked team and losing while playing at home. Follow that with a conference road game and I think that WSU is in a tough spot. Oregon State is a better team than Illinois certainly but you may be able to see the similarities.

I think that the public will be high on Washington State after their performance last week against USC coupled with the idea that the public will be down on Oregon State after getting blown out at home to Cal.

Early indications are true to that point, thru the first 500 or so bets placed on this game, 92% of the public are hitting the Cougars. Plus the line opened at WSU -2.5 which is a baited line. The line has since moved to WSU -3 but you get the idea.

I kind of equate this game to Cal/Tennessee. After Tenn throttled Cal I knew that no matter what the lines were the following week that I would bet on Cal and against Tenn. and both games came up winners. People were feeling good about the Vols and were down on the Bears and I see a similarity this week to people being high on WSU and down on OSU.

Personally, I have yet to make a play on this game but the above points I made make me lean on Oregon State for sure but it is still early on in the week and I don't make plays until later. Love getting points at home tho in this spot.

I hope you don't mind me chiming in but I figured I would throw some alternative ideas out there to support the other side.

good luck with whatever you all decide :SIB

just wanted to add, and let me remind you I am in no way trying to talk anyone out of any play nor have I played this game yet myself, but:

Oregon State is 5-0 ATS last 5 vs Washington State

...and, I do acknowledge that it is very early in the week, but now the # of bets placed is at about 700 and the public is going bigger on the cougars to a tune of 95% and the line isn't really moving off of the WSU -3.

take it for what its worth

good luck

DP, rooted hard for cougs vs usc and told my pal, huge coug fan, right after game theyd lose SU to beavs on letdown and other factors, i.e. what U touched on, cal blowing out beavs etc ... my concern is that cougs shoulda had game LY, and had TO city blowing it
