Thanks for the info soul. It's helpful but UCLA is much improved and washington is awful this year. I'm leanin towards UCLA with the x-factor bein it's in Pasadena. They play very good at home. Was hopin someone who watches this team weekly could help me out. Just got back from the 2nd half collapse known as ASU. FVCK!!!

I watch em week in and out and I wouldn't touch em tonight.

they'll win, but might not cover. I know its willingham and all, but very popular pick and line steaming in their direction.

some dikhead service has em as goy type game.

gun to head i would take the points tonight, but zero value in this game laying 24.

on offense huskies will pass for short gains and try to mix in the run. they will try to keep bruins off the field. think bruins will start slow after their bye week.
ucla loves when teams try to pass, they have very athletic but light d-line. they play alot of zone on passing situations. this plays into their strength (great linebackers).

not to bore you but ucla coaches have said that they will run even if huskies put 8 in the box. expect them to find super stud te. marcedes lewis early to get into a flow. scouting them (uw) coaches see alot of holes for washington. they have a very good l.b. and 1 safety but otherwise cupboard is bare for huskies this year.
ucla romps 45-10!

In my opinion, I think UCLA would want to run up the score and win big against Washington. If UCLA continues to win big, it will help in recruiting and start stealing some of USC's spotlight. UCLA has been completely overshadowed by USC the last 3 years. UCLA this year has been really impressive and I think they have a lot of motivation to win big if they can! Bruins playing with a lot of confidence. They should go for the kill and win big!

I think Washington also might have letdown after playing ND last week. If UCLA jumps on them early, it could get ugly!

...I agree with the above info...

UCLA is a bend-but-don't-break D philosophy. Huskies will get some ball movement down the field and some points. Bruin players were pissed that the bye week fell on last weekend, cause they felt like they were in a groove...many told the media that they can't wait to hit somebody this week...so I don't think they will sleep through this game tonight...

Also, LA Times used the revenge lead in their story this morning...all about how Maurice Drew scored 5 TDs running all over Huskies at their place LY...so take that for what its worth...

IMHO, revenge is a weak reason to bet a game...very inconsistent results...

I'd just as soon pass this one!

3 quick points on this game:

washington had to come from behind for their only win! (idaho)

this is huskies 1st road game this year.

9 starters on defense for washington return from 1-11 team last year.

UCLA is real flat after the layoff

their o-line is getting killed

still real early obviously, but UCLA don't look sharp.

3-0 wash early

Tonight we will see how good of a HC Dorrell is. Breaks are going against UCLA, down 10 against inferior opponent. Lets see what the Bruins are all about!

that was pathetic!
washington played real hard and ucla didn't... :cursin:

they better play better or cal is going to run it up on them.

I think you should be happy with UCLA's win yesterday. Your team showed a lot of character. 1st half breaks were going against UCLA and they were only down 10pts at half. I thought UCLA regrouped well in 2h. You know that the Pac 10 has the most parity and the last place teams can pull off upsets on regular basis! If UCLA blew out UW, you really wouldn't learn much. Look at all the close games USC played and won against inferior oppoennts. THEY BUILD CHARACTER and do wonders for the team. @Oregon Carroll said he thought it was cool USC was down at half. I think after these last 2 weeks, knowing the results, Carroll is extremely happy the way his team won. Much rather win this way facing adversity than blowing a team out. After knowing UCLA beat UW with last min. drive, UCLA fans should be very happy the way the game played out. UCLA learns more and can buld off this close win vs blowing out UW. Not to mention it will make UCLA players more humble which will result in more crisp practices. (same with USC) I had my doubts about Dorrell but looks like he is turning into a quality HC after learning on the job last few years.

Good luck against a very very good Cal team this Sat. I want UCLA undefeated when USC beats them at the end of the year! ;)

So Cal
I was touting the Bruins prior to the season .I said they would finish #2 in the PAC-10 (behind USC of course)

IMO UCLA came into the Wash game thinking all they had to do is show up to get the W. Next thing you now your down 17-7 That was a look-ahead game at it finest

UCLA will Expose #10 Cal IMO they don't deserve to be in the top 10...
