Problems with my daughters computer. When she goes on internet explorer to any website she gets a security certificate error and stops there. It appears the time on the computer has changed for some reason. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. Any suggestions for her? Is this virus related?

This is the first thing I would do

To reset Internet Explorer settings

• Close all Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.
• Reopen Internet Explorer.
• Click the Tools button, and then click Internet options.
• Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset. ...
• In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset

I don't think it is virus related - Take a pic of the cert error and email or text to me - left in your rep

Cert error fix

1. To do this, follow these steps:
   
   • In Windows Internet Explorer, click Continue to this website (not recommended). ...
   • Click the Certificate Error button to open the information window.
   • Click View Certificates, and then click Install Certificate.
   • On the warning message that appears, click Yes to install the certificate.
