On the road so hard to post.. Love VCU 's pressure defense vs peters gds . VCU has transfer Tsohonis from Washington who looks like he came out of a cave can shoot and pass. VCU lost their superstar Hyland but VCU presses and presses. Peter doesn't have the offense to score a lot vs VCU. Rhodes as a coach has done a good job like he did at Rice. Peter is the best defensive team in the MAAC but they are meeting the best def team in the A-10..

like iona -6 over Appa St and little dukies -7.5 over Rider.. small plays and can't break down games due to Red Roof weak on line connections

thanks ibo I am in NY attending a 50th wedding anniversary for my cousin I was his best man in 1971 and a freshmen at North Texas . I had to fly back to NY for the wedding. I had a crew cut when I left NY. In those 3 or 4 months at North Texas my hair grew long My father picked me up at La Guardia airport. .he took one look at me ,checked his watch and we drove straight to the barber shop. He was checking his watch to see if his barber was open. So saturday night at my cousins 50th anniversary I gave my customary toast to my cousin and his wife and told them that 50 years ago I flew up for their wedding and now 50 years later I flew up again to celebrate their 50th from Texas. I took out my notes and told the 100 guests that I found my original notes of the toast I gave in 1971. Of course I made them up and said not sure what this means in 1971 but my toast started out with " buy yahoo and facebook stocks. "
They enlarged the wedding party pictures and displayed it as your enter the reception . there are 3 people that have passed away from the original picture. One of the maids of honors asked me " do you remember what me and you did in the parking lot. I vaguely remember and she said we went outside in the parking lot and smoked something and made out. I do remember the making out because I had such a crush on her. I asked " did i behave and she said " you only got to 2nd base but was trying real hard to hit a triple. I laughed because her husband never liked me and he was at this 50th reunion. Damn I think I hit a lot of doubles back then ..

anyway this morning I was invited to a diner for breakfast and there were 11 teachers,hall monitors custodian and teacher aids from my school that I was principal at . I had hired all of them and they heard I was in town. They all spoke about their lives have changed because I hired them It was pretty emotional and so thoughtful .
Its good to be back in NY but I miss Austin Texas .. I have handicapp about 12 basketball games but staying at the red roof inn with weak internet. Today they told me you are at end of the hallway where our reception is weak ..So now in the lobby of hotel with my laptop typing this . have some games but will break them down when I get to Texas on Friday. Hard to believe hoop season started

What a wonderful tribute that people would relay the positive influence you had on their lives. I know all teachers hope that they somehow contributed to someone's life in some good way. Since my wife and her sister were teachers, they love when a former student recognizes them, and tells them a story about how something from their class made a lasting memory in their life.
I renewed my season tickets, so we can meet at the games! All indications are we are going to have a great season. Let's hope Beard's team brings the hard nose attitude he's known for. Hustle is going to have to make up for a lack of height. We'll see. Go Horns!!!
