I cant believe i am thinking about betting a second world cup game. Think I could take a sharpie put a dot on my wall and stare at it for 90 minutes and almost achieve the same heightened excitement. That being said i will follow your play and hope to see you at the cashiers booth!:0008

I really liked Uruguay too. But, here's a big concern:

Uru's 1st game - Cape Town - no altitude
This Game: 1200 meters

S.A. comes down about 400 meters in altitude for this game.

Thats a bad combo. Alt change could be an interesting guide as we get into the later rounds.

Hakeem Olajuwon's worst games were in Denver.
Altitude was his kryptonite.

Altitude affects some people more than others. I am sure most if not all SA's are used to it.

We'll see how it works out. The stats of soccer both club and country are pretty telling. Argentina got hammered 6-1 by Bolivia in qualifying. No place that high in SA, but still some stadiums higher than Denver. Greece and S Korea have the worst of anyone coming up - going from 0 to 1753 m's. Add to it that they are playing Arg and Nigeria who dont have that issue and they could be in for a hammering.

Nice call. Maybe the fav's are going to get it kicked into gear now they've got a game under their belts and some of these crap teams have to come out of their cocoons.

You're going to need to start posting some real locations where people can purchase a Chipwich in North America if you're going to continue to taunt us with the images, thread titles, etc. :nono:

And oh yeah, congrats on the win. Nobody knows fuuuuuutbol like the Canucks.

I'm seriously to the point where, if I can find a retailer in North America that sells them, I'm loading the fug up. Shipping and handling be damned...
