Don't want to alarm anyone, but thought you Wagerstreet customers should know what's going on. With the recent number of books going belly-up, EVERYONE needs as much information as they can get their ha]nds on!

04.17.02 (8:16 PM EST) - Mark Delpopolo has a merchant account with a company that Wagerstreet helped set him up with and they (the merchant) will have to foot the bill as they are now experiencing a very high number of chargebacks from mark, more than the reserve can handle and will have to go out of pocket to cover these expenses most likely.

04.18.02 (12:29 PM EST) - Did another book up in Canada set up Mark Del from Camelot as a sub agent for his credit card processing and will that book be forced to pay the price for the incredible number of charge backs that have been coming in to the processor? Wagerstreet is overly distraught over an article that was written encouraging ALL players of Camelot to charge back their credit cards.

04.18.02 (4:04 PM EST) - Wagerstreet housed Camelot Sports and Camelot processed credit cards through THEM according to sources. Wagerstreet is also reportedly housing another "illegal" sports betting operation against Kahnawake's policy.

04.18.02 (5:24 PM EST) - Wagerstreet hosting BetAllSports out of their office on the Kahnawake Reserve. This company was operating out of Belize from what we understand. We are not sure if Kahnawake is aware of this situation just as they were not aware of Mark Del's operation being housed in Wagerstreet's office. Gambling911 is being flooded with information today from numerous sources in regard to Wagerstreet and its association with both Camelot and BetAllSports. At this time Gambling911 can not recommend Wagerstreet based on this information we are receiving from very reliable sources.

04.20.02 (12:27 AM EST) - Please be advised that Wagerstreet has been placed on our Advisory List effective yesterday due to potential credit card processing problems brought on by chargebacks for Camelot. These are the same people who used to brag to Mark Del about how they ripped off the model; interactives and code from World Sports Exchange. BEWARE!

04.20.02 (3:22 AM EST) - Mark Del Flopolo, a fugitive bookmaker who stiffed most of his Camelot customers, may be questioned by New York State Police shortly according to sources very close to Gambling911. Our advise to Marky Mark: Try not to watch OZ

04.20.02 (12:30 PM EST) - Another interesting thing about Wagerstreet/Betallsports. Even though they use the same phone numbers and address, Wagerstreet.com's DNS info traces back to Kahnawake, but Betallsport.com traces to a hosting company in the USA. Not sure what is worse: locating in Kahnawake but not being licensed, or hosting in the USA! Hope they don't have any American owners.

Please explain further

Please explain further

As a novice user of off shore books, I have an account with Wagerstreet. Although I am a small player, I don't want to lose the money I do have on deposit. Does your thread mean Wagerstreet is out of business or close to going out? I wasn't guite sure what you meant by your information. I'd appreciate any further clarification you might have.
Thanks,
Tim

TK, to me, it means there are some fishy things going on, a RED FLAG if u will. It's getting harder and harder to trust offshore books.

Agree, goldcup, but if half is made up, maybe half is true as well. Several things from there have proven true. That's why it's a "rumor mill". Take it for what it's worth and go from there.

Would anyone here suggest I close my account at Wagerstreet and if so, any suggestions on the "most" reliable one to switch to. I hear VIP sports is solid.
thanks

Goldcup, is it half bs or 90% bs, lol?? It's fun reading, and some of it is true. With the books that have gone down, even if 1 thing posted there is true and u can get your money out in time, it's worth it. Anyway, I like the other site it mentions better anyway. GL!

As far as I know, Wagerstreet is still safe to play in to.

They had a one year contract to advertise here and quit after the 2nd month. After their monthly statement for payment was ignored three times, and after a nasty reply I got on the 4th attempt to get paid, I took their banners down.

They had been advertising here for over 1.5 years with no unsolved complaints. Their advertising campaign with madjacksports was one of their more successful ones, according to Bob, the owner. Why they decided to quit is a mystery to me.

TK, to me, it means there are some fishy things going on, a RED FLAG if u will.

I agree 100%

I hear VIP sports is solid.

You hear right. This company has been here for over 4 years and are expanding their business. Very solid, IMO, and in the opinion of the 'rumormill' as well, FWIW.

Is Betmaker.com still listed here

Nope. They stiffed me for advertising money and I took their banners down, however, I have never heard of a no pay or slow pay to players. Their advertising campaign was successful as well.

And 'we' can only talk about places that are listed here??? Or does Jack wipe it out???

No, Jack doesn't wipe it out! BUT, I'm not going to let books that don't advertise here, come in and tout themselves. It isn't fair to the paying advertisers.

Jack put it best. There has never been any complaints or no pay or slow pay. Is there fishy stuff going on? Maybe so. I think the thing that makes me mad is any little thing posted about a book now a days everyone is ready to pull out. Don't believe everything you read in these so called "Watchdog Sites" That's is one main reason why I enjoy jacks so much. There is none of the agenda driven bs in here and rumors flying around about books. Jack has several advertisers here that I have had money in and have been paid buy. I would never hesitate to play at any of the ones listed above

Thanks Jack, Betmaker.com HAS paid me when I wanted, but I thought I BETTER ASK...
I'm shocked they stiffed you on 'a slice', Mike has always been VERY fair (re-ups ) and he immediately fixed any problem I may have had. That is a dam shame, I liked them....:( :(
Maybe Mike will see tis and 'fix you up with your piece', I hope so........ Good Luck and thanks Spanky........

Goldcup.....

As I stated before, I didn't want to scare anyone, but it's apparent that Wagerstreet is involved with some shady characters and their customers have a right to know. I was a Wagerstreet customer for over 1 year, but took my money out months ago to put it with someone else. They were my favorite book at one time, but the online poker room from WSEX caught my eye.

I'm assuming you think everyone knows that they are associated with another online gambling forum. If they are, then it really doesn't concern me too much. Their "Rumor Mill" section has been correct in their assessment of books that have failed in the past. Here's a list for your own benefit: Bookie Joint, Camelot Sports, Aces Gold, and they are reporting that Grand Central is not paying some of their customers who are not berating them on places such as this. If they had been correct on only ONE Sportsbook going broke, then that's enough reason in my eyes to at least give them some validity.

I'm not recommending you do anything, and you certainly have the God-given right to send them as much money as you wish. BUT, at least your aware of the fact that they've failed to pay their bill with Jack, and they've been involved with some books that now have gone belly up. What you care to do with that information is your choice...
