Lawyers for Illegal Immigrant Children Sue Biden Admin Over Treatment at Intake Sites

Attorneys representing illegal immigrant children being held at emergency intake sites sued the Biden administration on Monday asking a federal judge to order the Department of Justice to comply with the terms of the landmark immigration agreement.

The lawsuit (pdf), filed against Attorney General Merricks Garland, alleges that the Department of Health and Human Services? (HHS) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is using unlicensed detention facilities to house migrant minors.

The plaintiffs allege that the children at these so-called emergency intake sites lack recreation and education, live in unsanitary conditions, are served raw or uncooked food and are served by staff untrained in taking care of children.

The plaintiffs claim that the substandard conditions violate the terms of the Flores agreement, which they say requires that the government ?place children in facilities that are safe and sanitary, appropriate for their age and special needs, and concerned with their particular vulnerability.?

The lawsuit also alleges that the sites have a haphazard case management system, which leads to some children having their cases resolved and being released quickly, while others wait for weeks to speak to a case manager.

Open borders?
Biden shuttling illegals around the country in government vehicles?
Packed detention centers?

You can't keep your bullshit straight because you never think anything through. Trump was criticized for the detention center conditions and you had no problem then. Now, for some reason, it's a problem. They need to get those detention centers straightened out, but don't expect us to think you care.

That makes perfect sense. They are both letting people wander into the country and they are detaining them in miserable conditions. Maybe it's a version of the Mexican Lottery? Sometimes we let you wander in, sometimes we drive you to Jefferson City, and other times we put you in a cage.

Who is legally not following the mandates (which mandates) and who is being charged with crimes for not following them?

If you are talking about Obama's birthday party, he's a private citizen and I'm not sure they were breaking a mandate. I can understand that you think he represents the government, but the fact is, he doesn't have anything to do with it.

If Biden or his family broke the law, the Trump DOJ would have buried him/them. So, if they couldn't find "their deeds", what is being covered up?

The assertions of wrongdoing keep coming, but the facts just aren't there. Don't let the talking points of a news commentary provider screw with your head. Dig deeper.
