Just for fun going to post my picks this week and track them.
Played against Nebraska large last week and won large.
(1-0)
This week-playing 6 for a total of 3700 going. Should be a fun weekend.
Early leans on the following:
Let me first say I dont like being opposite of Sun on his plays, I do respect his insight, that said....
Of course, I will ride the hot pick for me,
Texas A&M +2
The huskers are not going to be this great team by the very next week. A&M may have troubles, but they will right the ship vs. this beaten down squad. Huskers won't stop the run well, look at the USC game. They won't be able to exploit the A&M suspect defense so, A&M wins by around 8 or so. 31-23
I really like the Texas Tech Red Raiders getting +4 at Missouri, this game will be shoot out and Chase Daniels has proven before and will again that he can't win the big games. High scoring TT 49 Missouri 40
I like Kansas State getting +4 at Okie State. The Cowboys may have ran all over the Huskers but it won't be as easy this game. This line looks really fishy to me. I think Vegas thinks KSU is going to win outright. They figure most everyone will be on a hyped team again, right after playing a terrible husker team that makes them look dynamite, but the actual winner is the Wildcats after coming off an intense game with the Buffs.
Other leans, but for smaller wagers are
Florida -7 (bet 300)
Nevada Wolfpack -7.5 (bet 300)
LSU -11.5 (bet 200)
Large Wagers
Texas Tech +4 (bet it all 1000)
Kansas State +4 (large 800)
Texas A&M +2 (Large 900)
We'll see how they pan out.
A few figures to help rationalize these are
Kansas State 4-1 ATS in its last 5 vs. Okie State
Nevada is 4-2ATS in its last 6 vs. Utah State
Florida is 0-4-1 ATS in its last 5 vs. Kentucky..so I am going with the law of averages on this wager. I know that is not great rational but Florida will not overlook these guys this many times in a row. Urban Meyer will have them ready.
LSU will be low scoring, but if you all watched Auburn last week, their offense was brutal. I dont see them improving any against a decent LSU squad. LSU covers the spread easy 30-13.
GL to all this week, I like South Florida in the Rutgers game, but it also looks too peculiar to play.
Thanks to Sun and Cie for posting their plays and rationale behind the plays.
