The "problem" with Ron Paul is that he is honest and transparent. He is Not acting. What you see is what you get.

Most Americans have believed the Lie for so long that they have come to expect it; to lust after it. They want politicians to tickle their ears. The last thing they want to hear is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. They want things from government that are unlawful for government to provide. They have a messianic complex when it comes to government. It is their god surrogate.

"A government big enough to supply you with everything you need, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have..." attributed to Davy Crockett.

When government eats government grows and when it grows it eats. Eventually it can grow big enough to consume all property and all liberty and usually with a frightening toll in lives lost and destroyed. Once liberty is drowned in tyranny and chaos it can take generations to reemerge.

It was comical when Reagan was running and the other side kept making comments like, "How can an actor be a good president?" We now know that most politicians are just lousy actors.

Ronald Reagan tickled our ears so artfully. He pushed all the right buttons. Perhaps he even fooled Ron Paul for a brief moment. But he was still an example of symbolism over substance. Under Reagan government grew and liberty shrunk.

Ron Paul is the opposite in that respect he is all substance Constitutional substance. In his career performance we have witnessed a practically flawless example of the public servant who obeys his Oath. He hasn't been bought yet and it would appear he's not for sale.

We desperately need men in government who cannot be bought. Sadly, most current office holders are little more than amateur actors. Want proof? Ask them to articulate a Constitutional Principle. Just pick any one. Robert Byrd is a Metaphor. While he carries the Constitution in his pocket he is the undisputed Champion of Pork Barrel. That little booklet he carries should burn a hole in his jacket.

We wanted what Reagan was talking about. We yearned for it. But Ron Paul is really living what Reagan talked about. And that is why he is feared by the entrenched mediocrity posing as our lawful government.
Over time I have thought much about that alleged watershed moment when Reagan boldly proclaimed, "Mr. Gorbachev Tear Down This Wall!" It finally occurred to me that there were at least two possible reasons why it might be appropriate to tear down the Berlin Wall. Could it be perhaps that there might be no need for a wall if the entire world was well on its way to a socialist world government the goal of the Communist Internationale? Perhaps there would be no refuge left in the entire world once totalitarianism became universal. So who would need a wall with no place to go?

I realize there are those who will take offense at anything that challenges Ronald Reagan's legacy. But I have never been very good at fawning. As I recall he was working for me under Oath and I am very offended, that, after all the lip service, he was disobeying his Oath to my Constitution.

It took me a few years of serious study to understand why Reagan and most other so-called Conservatives were really just puzzle pieces in the dialectic process toward communism.

I will not dwell on the most public scandals like Iran-Contra. But I would like to apprise you of something much more insidious; something that was going on in the Reagan Education Department just one department that we will dismantle under the Ron Paul Administration. Ronald Reagan was complicit in a plan to deliberately dumb down American education. It doesn't take a great intellect to surmise that maintaining superior educational opportunities is crucial. In fact the Feds have no Constitutional authority to involve themselves in the education/government-controlled brainwashing of your children. And without the government involved it is hard to imagine anything that doesn't work better [other than the defense of life and property government's only lawful function].

The government's educational efforts expanded dramatically under Reagan, and Charlotte Iserbyt, author of The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, tells us how she blew the whistle in the presence of an indifferent Ronald Reagan. Soon after that she left federal government service with suitcases full of documentation about the plans well under way to make sure your kids will be dumb enough to be integrated into a not-too-bright global class of workers. Charlotte had her wake-up call. She had hoped Ronald Reagan would immediately take a firm stand against a communist system of education in America. Ronald Reagan failed to stand in the gap to protect our children. America's government-funded [read "government-controlled"] school system is a model for State control and integration into a One-World Government. It always has been. Government funding expects government control.

Ron Paul consistently presents the only solution for academic excellence and free thinking get the Feds out of the education business it is Not the Constitutional prerogative of the Federal Government.

As the mainstream media keep up the blackout on the Ron Paul campaign, we should not be surprised. We should redouble our efforts to educate ourselves and our fellow citizens so that we too may deftly turn arguments toward Constitutional solutions in full legal and historical context.

The potential return of "a government of laws and not of men" is what frightens petty tyrants and sycophants at all levels of government.

Now is the time for America to wake up and demand nothing less than a complete return to limited government under the Constitution.
