Just my 2 cents...what do I know

Vegas was built on broken dreams by guys that were gonna destroy the books, beat the system...
As I stand in the median looking up & down the boulevard, I can't help but see the billion dollar casinos...built upon the parlays, the teasers...the bets made by all the guys who "figured it all out", the guys who knew it all...the guys who said "I'm not like everybody else, I'm too smart"...

I think, guys get way too amped up, way too excited over the tourneys, march madness...for some reason, guys that haven't won a damn penny all year come into the conference tourneys and post season with an unfounded, unwarranted exuberance & blind indifference as if tourney time is going to magically turn your losing or break even habits into Blackbeards lost treasure, billy Walters scale winnings.....

And more often than not....it is NOT going to happen. Period.

My point isn't that you guys can't or won't win....
I'm saying, be careful, bet with your head and not over it...tourney time is not some magic elixir that will turn a losing capper into a gambling god...

I probably do get a little amped up for the playoffs in most sports. Its more for the fun and action of "big games".

The exception is college basketball and that's b/c of the brackets. Its prob a good thing. I still bet, but I go a lot smaller. Last weekend I withdrew a lot from my account (can't wait for the check to get here!) and been playing small-ball since.

Actually have won a good amount playing small....go figure. Will have fun with the tourney and then prob play a little here and there on NBA, the 3 horse races, maybe a little nascar....but mostly try to enjoy the warm weather of spring.

Good post Panama. I also think some know more about how to bet the tourney and some don't...
