What is this scam?

Everything you order off of TV has this caveat, now. You used to pay "shipping and handling" on any crap you ordered. Now, they make a big deal about how shipping and handling is FREE! Just pay a separate fee.

Same way with event tickets,concerts. They advertise a price. Then at checkout add $1.00 a ticket handling fee and a $4.00 convenience fee. I print them out myself,with my ink. Why charge me for their easy sale? Jesus,just say they're 5 bucks more in the beginning.
I was on one site that let's you pick seats for the event and the two seats on the aisle in each row were a few dollars more more than rest in that section.WTF??? What happened to first come, first served?

I am am sitting in Laguardia after a 3 day trip with my daughter now, laughing because I am the same. Window guarantees I don't have to get up for anyone and I won't bother them either.
