Just pay him, OR NOT, and get it all over with. In a few years $300 million won't seem like anything. You're going to pay him over $100 million the next 2 years under the franchise tag anyway. And I agree with Stephen A, he'd be crazy to play even 1 down before he gets the contract. This is serious business now.

How about a 10 year deal for $550 million with $250 million guaranteed.

he has a contract...what he needs is an agent to take on these negotiations for a new contract so when he drops back to pass with bettors money on the line he isn't wondering why the Ravens haven't negotiated yet.

Too much at stake for Lamar to think he is the person to negotiate here...

can't pay him more than Mahomes and justify it.

No Ring...and higher % getting hurt with nearly triple the rushes per season than Mahomes.

He will not last 10 years at that rate ...

Probably a big reason Ravens have not inked him to a new deal already .

There is happy spot between 5-10 years w/millions guaranteed close to the Wilson deal.

But ya can't handcuff the Ravens to an accident about to happen and sabotage the franchise going forward.

I'm open to whatever happens. I'm okay with Tyler Huntley as QB, saving all that money, and building a great defense again. I'm just saying I think Lamar is crazy if he even takes one snap without the new deal, whatever that may be. It's too much money to risk injury and not getting anything.
