It was all just a terrible miscalculation by Obama's advisors. They thought the election was in the bag so go with a "safe pick" and dont have to deal with Bill and Hillary. They were sure McCain would take Romney or even worse Lieberman and never envisioned a woman.

They knew he could take a woman. I was saying that McCain would have a better chance if he took a woman 2 months ago. And if I was verbalizing that, dont think the dems were not thinking about it and planning for it.
