The tournament structure
There are 8 different groups with 4 teams in each group (total of 32 teams). The teams in each group will play one another one time to determine the top 2 teams to advance to the next round (total of 16 teams advance to round 2). Please check the structure of each round that we have included to assist you in making your pics.
The teams will be ranked when they advance to the next round (Group A's top two teams will be ranked A1 and A2), which is very important in determining who the teams will play as they advance. After the first round, the other rounds are single elimination. You lose and you go home.
How to play
* - Choose 2 teams from each group that will advance to the second round. (2pts for each correct pick)
* - Choose from the 16 teams in the second round, the 8 teams that will advance to the third round. (4 pts for each correct pick).
* - Choose from the 8 teams in the third round, the 4 teams that will advance to the semifinals. (8 pts for each correct pick).
* - The Hail Mary. This is to give you a chance if you haven't done so well in the first 3 rounds. Choose the 2 teams to make it to the finals and the correct final score in regulation (90 min plus injury time. 50 pts.)
