Its been 3 years since they played but I'm sure Coughlin hasn't forgotten the Sunday Night game back in 1998 when the Vikings poured it on big time over the Jags 50-10. This was the game that gave the Vikings the since broken scoring record. I remember them still passing being up something like 40-3. Coughlin looked like he wanted to kill Denny after the game and I didn't blame him. I'm sure he hasn't forgotten.

Carter is now saying this is his last home game. Sounds like another one of these guys who will "retire" several times. I don't think thats going to be enough for the Vikes; the bad blood will prevail.

Heres some scoop for you all. Chris Carter will be named the General Manager of the Minnesota Vikings at the end of the season. This is being reported by Kfan sports radio station and viking update. Mike Tice will become offense cordinator and WIllie SHaw will take over the defensive cordinator position. What I think is ironic , this leaves the position of Head coach in Chris Carters hands...can you say pay back is a bitch. If Green goes and Dungy is let go in Tampa , you can bookit he will return here.
