byrd vs. mays

byrd is in a schilling-like way, going 9 innings in his last two games, a first for him this season, and allowing 1 miser run each game. it doesn't get any better than this, folks.

mays is an excellent pitcher and coincidentally has allowed only 1 run per game in his last two. the only difference is that mays has needed bullpen help, and therein lies the difference on paper, trend-wise.

i will take the born again boy-wonder byrd here at +155 in what should be a no more than minn -115 or so game.
