been giving this gm it's due amount of reflection...

IF you watched the last 3 halfs of Kansas basketball, you'd think they couldn't lose to anybody.
Their 3pt shooters hardly EVer miss... and they're WIDE open most the time.. and their big man is unstoppable..

IF you watched NCarolina, you saw them beat Baylor (dominant early.. held on.. won easy in OT).. outplayed UCLA the final 10 mins to get to Sweet 16.. breather vs St Pete... awesome bk n forth against Duke.. great clutch shooting.. fast paced 2h vs biggest rival...

Now tonight.. 48 hrs later.. the FINAL

last 30 mins lines gone from Kan -4 to 4.5... total 152

there's a lot said that NC won't have anything left after the Duke gm... to which I say... Ha!
these guys are 20 yrs old... they coulda played yday lol (Bacot's ankle is possible factor)

I expect bk and forth.. up and down.. outstanding guard play by NC... forward play by Kans...

think it'll come down to last few mins.. close, tight, fts... going w/NCar..
believe they've played a tougher road.. and will give Kans all they want.

and I believe OVER 152...

79-76 Tarheels

whatever happens, hope it's not decided by the whistles!

Bruno, I personally haven't been in that situation u had last night... you weren't risking a Lot of $$, but you had a lot you could win and I'm sure it must've been exciting lol it was for me and I didn't have the bet!

Thing to remember... when your team goes way up rt before half (or whenever), consider the live wager on the other side for a bit.. probably would've had at least 4 or 5 to 1... throw a few hundy on it..
I should've done the same thing... hindsight 20 frggn 20...
get caught up in the moment, not betting, watching.. making food..

Carolina dominated the boards.. couldn't shoot for crap!
NC guards Davis n Love... 1/13 from 3pt... 10/41... Bacot 3/13... 13/54 total! that's pretty bad shooting...:scared

all that said, IF Bacot doesn't twist his ankle on the fastbreak (on nothing but his own footwork) w/50 secs left and turn the ball over, they could've very likely scored and retaken the lead...
Had a coach in HS used to say, "If Ifs and Buts were soup and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas!" :142smilie
ahhh simpler times lol

You'll remember this one! :0008

Time for me to study for Fantasy Baseball Draft... :popcorn2

Yes it was stupid not to go for a middle at half time , especially when the announcers said no team has ever come back from 15 down in a ncaa championship game. Jinx prosonified. It was a great march madness that ended on a sour note . But its all good, good luck going forward . Bruno :toast:
