:director: I have so much respect for Coach Snider and what he has done at K ST, but Auburn is a beast.

Woody - what are your thoughts on Whitehead being out of this one?

I'm leaning home dog despite the fact K-State's defensive line is weak and this should be a high scoring contest as both teams will have trouble defensively (Auburn has some key injuries like Whitehead who could have contained Lockett). If K-State hangs early, this should be a close game. I also realize Auburn has covered an incredible 13 straight games:scared

I'm not sure what to think of this game. Auburn is Stout! :toast:
However, Grandpa Bill always comes up with a plan. Stretch the game out maybe? Our defense, LB are not like the days of old with: Simoneau, Kelly, Lieber, Newman, etc...,. who knows.

(Auburn has some key injuries like Whitehead who could have contained Lockett).

Whitehead is suspended for getting in a yelling match with a coach in practice. he'll be back by LaTech if he sucks up his pride.

But he wasn't gonna contain Lockett. Gets burned almost once a game for a big play on a blown assignment. Arkansas he gave up a TD early in the game. His experience will be missed he's basically "the QB of the defensive backs" but talent wise, he's very replaceable.

Bill Snyder is 40-18 against the spread in the SECOND HALF since he returned to K-State in 2009.
