KC even 1 unit
KC / Tor under 9 -120 Bannister/ Burnette 2 units

Bannister has quietly become one of the most solid and dependable starters in the american league. Since June his era is a very fine 2.81 and I like the fact that the Jays have not seen him. Toronto did not swing the sticks well last night and the back end of KC's bullpen has improved greatly from last year.

AJ Burnett returns after a long stint on the DL but threw very well in his tune up at Syracuse allowing one run and striking out 7 in five innings. By all reports that I have read it appears that he is ready to go. I Like this one to stay under the number today.

Yanks/Tribe under 10 -110 2 units Pettitt/ Westbrook

Its not easy playing the Yanks under the number these days but I will bite here. Westbrook has finally found the sinker and has been most dominant in his last three starts allowing just 11 hits in 21 innings. If the sinker is working today he should keep the big yankee sticks in the yard.

The tribe has simply lost their offensive outbursts that they enjoyed with regularity in the first half of the season. In their last 10 games they have averaged just 3.2 runs per game. The Indians hitters have been baffled by Pettitt in the past, only hitting .220, and the last thing the tribe needs to see now is a finesse left hander. Also of note in this one is that umpire McCelland is 9-14 under the number this year.
