Dear MJ Posters and Lurkers,

I'm taking this time to announce that I'm starting a pay service.

I would like to thank all the many friends I've gotten to know here at Madjack's. Thanks to all of you, whether you posted or just lurked, thanks for considering my opinions.

I'd also like to thank Madjack for all he has done, and allowing me to advertise @ bestbettor. Jack really didn't have to do that for me, but he did. Thank's Jack!

I also wanted to add what a thrill it was for me to meet so many of you in Las Vegas, last February, at the Superbowl party. Hope to seeing my secound grandchild around that time, 1,000 miles in the opposite direction. Hope to be back in 2003!

I'm sure this post will get some bashes, comes with the territory I guess.

Once again, thanks for all your views and posts since I've been here.

Good luck to all of you during the upcoming football season, hoping you all make BIG money.

I have nothing against free enterprise and wish kcwolf well. As much as I love this site, I have found that I cannot maintain too many expensive hobbies: coast fishing, long distant calls to fatdaddycool, alcohol consumption. Not complaining-just the facts and I can live with it. I won't be able to afford it but I really enjoyed living off the fat of the land with the free picks. So good luck, wolf!

Good luck wolf, you've always posted your record and if mine was as good as yours, then I'd charge too .

Who knows I just might have to sign up + 200 units in baseball and if 1 unit = 100.00 x 200= 20K. Assuming that wolf
charges $ 200.00 per mth and season is 6 mths long.

KC asked me to make a wee announcement about my involvement with his new venture.

I have teamed up with KC as a minority percentage partner.

In the initial stages, my chief contribution is a series of articles about handicapping.

As time moves on and hopefully the business progresses, my involvement will become heavier as we look to introduce different packages on different sports.

It means my major commitment from here on in is with KC and his site. That will severely limit the time I spend here at the forums and with my web page.

You will also notice over time the involvement of a couple of other familiar Madjacks names - Antonio and Turtle, who will be key contributors in their own right also.

I'd also like to say a big thanks to all those I've met here at Jacks place. Don't think this means I'll be a total stranger either.

good luck with the venture, I am not a fan of pay services or sites, however you are a good capper...so good luck.

there is a difference between giving free picks and pay picks, if you struggle for a week or two then you will probably see the negative email feedback.

only paid once, was for around $100US for the year to someone who capped college football, he had great writeups, did it free the first year and then went pay.

he struggled the 2 years he went pay but still did not mind since the write ups were great, and I made money off the information. he gave it up, getting hate email can wear someone down.

to small of a bettor for this option but good luck KC wolf and Anders.

Same guy that went by the name of Wizard Weygint? I followed the same pattern, and he still is the ONLY guy I've ever paid for sports picks. His writeups were fabulous on a lot of the games, they never turned out like they were expected to. It seemed as though when he started making people pay for his picks, it went all downhill after that.

Neemer you are correct, Wizard Weygint had great information. the only pay service I ever used and probably ever will. it was fairly cheap. I only emailed him a few times but he seemed like a decent human being, he gave it up, after going pay for 2 years I think. got some email that was not complimentary.

there another tout I met through that page that caused me to post on the forums. it was free email picks for a while and then he asked $$ for them. I declined the offer and got multiple email calling me every name one could think of, none of them good
he is also no longer around, to bad he was worse than me at NBA totals.


Wizard Weygint had great write ups, hopefully somday he will come back, and post his games again.
