I'll play top picks WPS, exotics may need adjusting for value.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Race 1 $$
#9 Terolote 6/1- Drops to tag for sneaky trainer Montano after NO chance in first two sprints, then three good turf runs. Adds bookend type works since last out; 48.3B 5th of 45 that day and the key 6F 1:14.2B, followed by 3F drill in slop 3 days ago, ready for best spot of early career for $525k purchase.
#1 Rubiano Star 12/1- Nafzger's first timers usually don't win, but this could help exotics at a price with improving work pattern, breeding and already lost manhood at age 2. So he better be a runner.
#5 Don Kruse 4/1 & #8 Mr. Simon To You 5/1- Closer's could get a piece.
Tri: 9 / 1-5-8 / 1-4-5-6-8
Doubles: 9 / 1-3-7
Pick 3: 9 / 1-3-5-7-8-10 / 4-11

Race 2
#1 La Bombonera 20/1- Trainer looking to break o-fer 39 year. He probably doesn't even realize he has a live one with a shot. At best distance for 4th race off rest, hates the off track last out, 2 back toss out with Deegan, 3 back shows potential vs. this field with good turn time while gaing a spot and finishing with FF in 26.1, best of last out dirt runs by a second. CD race before rest FF in 25 with trouble and turn move . Performed better than favorite #7 vs. common foe, Heat Of Dixie.
#3 A Secret Scoop 15/1- Should be well placed up front for good rating run behind failing speed of the #5 and #7, positive jock switch.
Tri: 1-3 / 1-3-7 / 1-3-5-7-8-10

Race 3 $$
#11 Mr Bassett 12/1- Comes off 6 month break with only two 4F breezes, improving from 50.3 to 49.1 from the gate, indicating ready to race. Trouble in first two at starts with FF of 25 (tie for best in field) and 25.2, including last out here at Kee. in tougher race when finishing even with show horse Halo's Tiger coming from tons better than this field, which finished ahead of Equality going a mile at Del.
#4 Lap 5/1- Debuts with good work pattern and speed breeding of Danzig, gets Albarado in field lacking proven speed.
#6 Forlaan 7/2- Bad Jennifer Jock keeps out of winner's circle, good live horse overcomes her for contender run.
Tri: 4-11 / 4-6-11 / 3-4-5-6-11-12

Race 9
#4 Sophorific 5/1- Blink on after tightner throw out KD field race. Aug 3rd trip with troubled trip in fast 2nd split gain in stakes race the key to live run here. Showed kick at CD with FF's of 24 and 24.2, coupled with forwardly placed run should hold off the best FF favorite.
#9 Boana 5/2- Best last out FF of 23.2, 3rd off rest, adds maintanence works.
#2 Rutledge Dancer 8/1- Off of 2 month break with 7 works leading to this spot including 6F 1:13.2B. Final Fractions four previous outs; 24, 24.2, 24.3, 23.3, says will be another rolling late.
Exacta: 4-9 / 2-4-9
Tri/Super: 4-9 / 4-9 / 2-5-6-10
