It's certainly something to ponder, but odds are the Lions won't adjust their game plan by sitting important players Monday night. Head coach Dan Campbell is without a doubt one of the most aggressive head coaches in the NFL, so it's hard to imagine him resting starters in the second-to-last week of the regular season. Campbell could have rested his starters in the regular-season finale last year against the Vikings but decided not to. It would be surprising if he changed course Monday.
My reasoning for taking Detroit tonight, is more about betting against the 49ers, who are 1-6 vs playoff teams this year and have lost 5 of their last 6 games overall.

At DraftKings right now there is 90% of the wagers and 83% of the handle on Detroit on the spread. There is 94% of the bets and 93% of the money on Detroit on the moneyline. So, yes, it can be right. And it is NOT just "the public" but also represents sharp and "big" money.

Last year we went 4-1 on nyd. Bama was a fumble away from winning in the last minute. Remember the ball inexplicably turned left at the goal line on the Michigan muffed punt ?!!! I still have ptsd from that bama loss. Watching Dave portnoy celebrate made me sick. 😂

Yea. A 7 teamer in baseball. 1500 paid 25. Then the next night I did a 5 k 5 teamer in bb that paid 35. So 60k in two nights… Out of nowhere and that lit the fuse. 😆 let’s not forget. This run happened bc you went something like 25-30 games over .500 in nfl. Jack and steel went on epic runs in baseball. Jack played a blk chip on only big dogs and had the bankroll up to $7000 at one point lol !! Steel would go on 10/13 /14 game runs. Lol. Steel also killed it nba that year-Which seems impossible now considering how quickly the league has changed in a few short years. It is gross now. Just a bunch of idiots running up and down jacking threes. Jord was also on fire in the nfl. Smitty killed it in bowl games that year. On and on. I’ve never told anyone outside my mother or sister abut that run. Because they are the only two that believe it. No one else would. 😆
