Does anybody here have experience building a kegerator kit into their bar at home? I just finished building and surfacing my bar in the garage/man-cave and I have a 22" wide area planned for a keg fridge underneath (depth is not an issue). I am hoping to install one that will fit up to two sixth barrel kegs with a dual spout tower mounted at top (or two towers, no preference there).
Anyway, this is too much information for my question, but I am just starting to explore some websites and I'm seeing a lot of different kits for various setups. I'm not really sure where is best to look/buy from, but so far I've checked out kegworks, kegerator.com, beveragefactory and micromatic.com. Just wondering if anybody has experience and is willing to offer some advise based on their experience/expertise.

TIA :toast:

I think I bought my kit from Midwest Beer Supply, but that over a decade ago. The one thing I will say is make sure you have a set up that can handle two kegs at once. I turned a refrigerator into a kegerator that could handle a 1 1/2 barrel or 2 1/4 barrels. It ended up being a little more expensive but doing 1/4 barrels was the way to go because you could use a kanban system. When one was empty, you hooked up the other and ordered a backfill.
