ok Kegray...I have put together the list....I have had some time to reflect and I am still in a state of shock that you said what you said......:scared

also....screw pound for pound.....there are some Welterweights that would smoke Kimbo, I could care less about the weight difference....GSP would run through Kimbo no matter what weight he was. And even BJ Penn and Sherk at Lightweight would beat Kimbo :142smilie

Kimbo would go 100-0 vs. these guys.
Just kidding. He is not a good fighter. I have said that plenty of times and yes he is not in the top 100 overall NO QUESTION.

That said the HEAVYWEIGHT CLASS is so overated.
It is so bad that they are bringing back guys like Mark Coleman,Oleg, Smashing Machine,Ricco to name a few. He is not top 10 know that I look at it, but don't think for a second that he is not better than a pretty big list of heavyweights out there. Remember he is just starting this sport and if he really wants to(with Rutten) couold improve everytime out.

And in Elitexc, I put him in the top 2 which isn't saying much for Elite.Antonio Silva would beat him. Not sold on rogers at all.

Gary Shaw thinks Kimbo is the best.:mj07:

I would love to see GSP submit Kimbo. Not sure it would last 1 minute.

BJ is better than many heavyweights even with the weight difference.

I agree saying 10-12 top heavyweight was high, but come top 30 heavyweights. His power alone and Bas training him gives him some credit.

The things Kimbo has going against him are cardio and he seems to have WEAK legs. Tank drove him into the cage and probably could have taken him down if he had tried. Everyone acts like Thompson is awful. He has a glass jaw,but has good MMA skills and yes if he had any cardio then he would have finished Kimbo.

Why am I defending Kimbo. I think he sucks. I JUST THINK THERE ARE SOME PATHETIC HEAVYWEIGHTS OUT AS WELL.

Change my quote to KIMBO IS A TOP 25-30 HEAVYWEIGHT .

I CHALLENGE YOU TO NAME 25 HEAVYWEIGHTS THAT YOU GUARANTEE BEAT HIM THAT ARE ACTIVE.

That means you can't even say Brett Rogers. Rogers won't even be favored vs. Kimbo.

ok....phew:scared

Good to see kegray recant his "top 10" comment...nice to have ya back to reality:142smilie

Although I do think you are giving Kimbo a little too much credit, and yes the heavyweight division isn't exactly stacked....I don't see Kimbo in top 30, but I'll conceed the top 50. As for pound for pound, he fits in nicely between 135-150.

how many martial arts fights has kimbo had?....

isn`t the premise a tad premature?...

Why do they not count Kimbo's win over Ray Mercer at Cage Rage.
Kimbo is 4-0 with that win,but they list him as 3-0.

I like to compare Kimbo to Mike Tyson.
If he doesn't finish you early then you have no excuse not beating him.

Did they ever say what happen to James Thompson's ear.
At weigh-in, it looked nothing like that.Something happened in those 24hrs.
I wonder if they gave it a cortizone shot or something and it reacted poorly.

Yes...ya don't want another ban:142smilie

And it doesn't count because it was an "exhibition" bout.

GW, Kimbo could easily be 0-33 if he fought in the UFC, when ya fight guys that suck your record is going to look pretty good now isn't it. Who cares if he's 3-0 9-0 44-0 if ya fight bums:shrug:

But the biggest question is this..........

Who in the hell is Kimbo going to fight next.....I'd guess Ken Shamrock, Don Frye or Dan Sevryn :142smilie

and I knew some prick was going to come in and say that "I forgot so and so" :142smilie

Damn ya know how hard it is to remember everyone......go ahead add to the list of pound for pound fighters better then Kimbo....I am sure others will come up with some as well. I mean how can I remember everyone:scared

But make kegray proud, give a list of heavyweights better then Kimbo....I can easily come up with 35 better then him, have to think harder about the other 15, but I think kegray is correct heavyweight division sucks so I guess he is a top 50:SIB

Shamrock has a weak chin, but he would get Kimbo to the ground before it is tested if Ken is smart.
Shamrock would finish him with ease unless Bas does so major training.

He would destroy Frye because Frye will just stand and punch like Tank.

Sevryn maybe old but he is smart and would take him down and BEAT HIM.

Kimbo will not beat anyone with actual ground skills which is not that common in heavyweights.Lucky for him.

I don't think it will be Brett Rogers.

No "Smashing Machine" or Frank Shamrock on the list either.

Speaking of which, Have you ever seen the movie/docum. called "Smashing Machine" following Mark Kerr and Marc Coleman around during a tourney.
You should see it.

Also watch "Choke" with Rickson Gracie at a Vale Tudo in Japan.

Both are excellent.

Did you see the Bas interview where he said the fight should have been stopped when Kimbo wasn't defending himself?

I wonder if he continues with the Kimbo experiment.

Two of your top 100 will faceoff at Affliction.
They just signed Arlovski and he will fight Ben Rothwell on Fedor/Sylvia card.

Affliction is coming strong and it has Trump money behind it now.
I think Elite is in serious trouble.

kick, i bet u hate Kimbo even more now that his existence caused u to have to make that list........... And there are plenty of people worse than Kimbo.... just look at his victims on youtube.. :142smilie

Oh, and if EliteXC doesnt make Kimbo fight Brett Rogers then its credibility as an organization dwindles even more.... Rogers called out Kimbo publicly on his website today after their drama at the post-fight press conference Saturday... If they have Slice fight Ken Shamrock next (rumor) I may just never watch an EliteXC event ever again...

I think someone already said it, but did u know that one judge gave Kimbo that second round 10-9, while another gave it to Thompson 10-8 ?!?!?!

WTF
