Injuries hammer Jets blue-line

The Winnipeg Jets (16-10-6) will be short four defenceman due to injuries when they host the Boston Bruins (16-13-3). Coach Paul Maurice announced Thursday that Mark Stuart would be out until February because of a lower-body injury incurred during a fight with the Sabres' Nicolas Deslauriers Tuesday.

Stuart joins fellow defencemen Zach Bogosian, Toby Enstrom and Jacob Trouba, who are all out due to injuries.

To help on defence, the Jets acquired Jay Harrison from the Hurricanes Thursday and he is expected to play against the Bruins.

Boston won the last bout at home, 2-1 in overtime on Nov. 28.
