This guy set Oregon st records. He is better than half the running backs that got drafted. Last year, he would have been one of the top running backs in the nation if he left, but he stays back to get more experience and now he's penalized for that?!?!?

Are u kidding me?!?!?

I guess he's no Reggie Tongue

I guess he's no Reggie Tongue

I was surprised at this too. I didn't see his name in any of the lists I looked at but I thought I might have missed it.

The scouts must have seen something beyond the stats that indicated they didn't think he could play. He is pretty small if I'm not mistaken (like 185 or something).

He seems like a great candidate for a canadian football team.

The scouts dont pick talent, they draft 40 times and size. Lelie is heeps better than Stallworth, but Stall runs a 40 tenth of a second faster so he gets picked first. Luke Stayley didnt get picked til the 7th round, also a joke.

Lelie heeps better than a Stallworth? Are you serious?? Lelie, on stats alone, is better, but if you watch these two play, Stallworth on pure talent alone is much better.

another player that people are gonna be wondering how they missed on. He will flourish in that offense and they'll have time to bring him along slowly and rotate him in for maximum damage, minimal injury potential.

Simonton will be lucky to get 1 NFL carry. College football fans need to learn to differentiate between the skill level of NCAA football and the NFL. Sure, there are exceptions to every rule, but any GM who would draft a 5'7" tailback with average at best speed and no expectional quickness, hands, pass blocking, etc. is nuts.
