Blatantly cheating with the pine tar and caught in an absolute lie in his after game press conference.
He says the umps said nothing to him about taking off that mess, and that he noticed it himself and wiped it off. The ump says that was absolutely not true and he told him after the first to clean up.

I am getting tired of all this sucking off by the announcers and in studio guys of Rogers. Kenny Rogers is a good pitcher but an absolute prick. Go ask Larry Rodriguez if Rogers is a nice guy. Rodriguez is the guy Rogers attacked last year. And make no mistake if you or me had attacked someone in the parking lot like Rogers did on the field we would have been thrown in jail. Rogers blamed the media and never took responsibility. He gave a half ass apology and berated media members. Like I said the guy is a true a-hole. Just think of Bonds had assaulted someone like that and the backlash that would have ensued.

I don't have a dog in this fight as far as the Series is concerned, but was kind of rooting for Detroit because I am a big fan of Ivan Rodriguez and Jim Leyland. But is real hard to swallow when this guy is on the mound.

Yeah after he went and cleaned it off, he went and pitched another 7 scoreless innings was it? That proves it had nothing no effect whatsoever. As it stands this guy is the MVP of the postseason.

I don't think the pine tar makes a load of difference, but since Rogers did it in all three starts this postseason according the videos I've seen, he must think it does.

If you flip the situation, and a hitter broke his bat and a bunch of superballs came out (Sammy Sosa style) you know they'd get suspended. In the spirit of the rules I don't see how this is any different.

Where was the pine tar when we needed it in Game six against Atlanta in 1999???? Might not have walked half of Atlanta that game.

Actually it doesn't prove a damn thing, he could've went to the dugout and loaded up his glove, his hat, and everything else

Rogers has a history of loading the ball, and you think b/c he wiped up one spot means he didn't cheat the rest of the night?

Hilarious

explains alot of things in my mind...like how a mediocre pitcher throughout his career all of a sudden became unhittable in the playoffs, a time when he traditionally gets lit up....

Absolutely Correct.

Olympics

Tour de Lance

Baseball

Football

Marathons

The list goes on and on. What kind of examples r we sending our children? I'd rather get my a$$ beat fair & square then cheat 2 win. JMHO.
