just a little help if you could. my friend told me he could bet a "futures" bet on the derby and wanted to take a horse by the name of: repent, at 30:1. he asked me what i thought, but i can't find anything on the derby or that horse.
is there anywhere on the net i could find info on the prospective field to be and, or that horse? thanx

some tracks, like Keeneland, offer futures betting on the Derby at the track. they'll have a pool of horses with odds and the pool will remain open for so many days, then it closes -- you keep the odds you get -- and another one opens.

you might go to the daily racing form to get info.

sorry i don't know more about this, barkeep.

Barkeep, the horse Repent I think is training at fairgrounds. If he is not training there he is going to run his next race there. I think it is going to be the Risen Star Stakes. The next big 3yr old race at Fairgrounds. I think the race is in 2-3 three weeks. If you want to check it out go to fgn.com. I get all the live races on youbet.com for no charge. You can set up an account and not bet and watch the races. I don't use them to place my wagers I use my offshore account. They take any track. Betus.com Nasa sports book. Good luck on the derby.
