Normally when the world is on a fav, I take a dog. My reasoning for taking Kentucky tonight stems from matchups. 3 key matchups

1. Robinson vs Davis

Thomas Robinson is the hearbeat of KU. He is a top 10 pick in the upcoming draft and will have a nice NBA career ala Paul Milsapp. He stuggles with length. Davis will pose a problem for him

2. MKG vs Releford

MKG is a dynamic talent who turns Def to Off as good as anybody in the country. Don't be suprised if he is the second pick in this watered down draft. His athleticism will be a match up problem for Releford

3. Terrance Jones/Anthony Davis vs Jeff Withey.

Both of Kentucky's bigs can face up and take Withey off the bounce. Yes he is a great shot blocker when he is in position. These Kentucky bigs are more athletic and can put Withey in tough situations on face ups and ISOs. Because of this I think KU will play some zone and will open up shooting opp for Milller, Teague, Lamb from the outside.

Keep in mind teams almost always shoot better on Monday vs Sat in large domes. Shot angles are not as difficult to adjust too.

These are my thoughts.

Kentucky -6.5

What? Can you please explain this for us uninformed NCAA basketball watchers? Thanks

Big domes provide difficult shot angles vs traditional basketball coliseums. Keep in mind the Final Four is played in football arenas so more fans can attend. Repetition breeds comfort. Your second time in a setting like this allows players to get used to normally unfamiliar shot angles. I think this will favor a better offensive team with more weapons ala Kentucky

Gin,

It doesn't matter, Either davis or jones can face him up and beat him off the bounce
