I checked the decision prop for Kessler by decision at 5D yesterday too, I think it was +221 or +185 may be mistaking it with the Froch-Tate under but it was definetly good odds, went on there to check today at about 7PM and the line was gone! :nono: :(

Waiting for it to come on HBO in about 20 mins...

so now here`s the plan.....we hook up calzaghe and kessler at a neutral...say vegas.....and add on mundine and say, jeff lacy.....or better yet, lucien bute and lacy....or mundine and bute....

beam these fights into the uk,denmark, canada, and australia with ridiculous ppv price tags......

and make a fricking fortune....

Pretty funny. I heard the scores were off to. So I watch the fight and expect Andrade to win some rounds.....it never happened. Round 9 was the only round I thought was close. Kessler won the rest, I have no problem with 120-108.

Box my sober assessment of the Berrara fight

Box my sober assessment of the Berrara fight

This was a very close fight that i think should have been nothing more than a draw I just can't take the title away from a champ in a close decision. How do we justify those lopsided scores? I could of very well gave this to Berrara. Marquex kinda remind me of a young Duran. It was a nice solid fight but no way do i give close decisons to challangers. why i hated all the Hopkin decisions against Taylor.

i agree again...i followed at eastside boxing and some yoyo reported that aol sports had it 67-66 after 7........ and said that kessler looked spent in the late going....

kessler was a beast in the 12th...he tried his ass off to get andrade out of there...

i hope it hurts to be that stupid...it should....

120-108 was what i saw...

that was a masterful performance.....one of the better examples of punching and getting out of the pocket i`ve seen..he`s super quick....

you wonder how that fantastic jab works vs an equally quick lefty.....with maybe a little more power....

the only thing i saw that looked a little weird were kessler`s gloves during some of his combinations...he wasn`t always punching with the punching surface of his glove...he slapped some...and didn`t look like his wrists were locked..

still,he`s good...real good...

is he good enough to travel to the uk?....imo,bad business if he does...

.he`s good...real good...

I have seen a good bit of Kessler and had told boxlox the same thing, Kessler is an excellent fight. He might punch like that once in a while because of previous hand issues. I remembered he hurt his hands a while back. The guy hits people a lot I can see why :mj07: He's an excellent boxer and I would have no problem picking him to beat Calzaghe. I like Kessler's straight punches over Calzaghe's fast and sometimes wide slaps.

BTW- Andrade's ridiculously tough. Kessler landed about 100 shots in that fight that were similiar to what he KO'ed beyer with :mj07:

i felt andrade won the 11th , but cant argue with giving the other rounds to Kessler.

Andrade was tough though , gotta give him a lot of credit for hanging in there.

Who wins between Kessler-Calzaghe, if the fight gets made?

Right now I'd lean Calzaghe by decision.

I'd go for Calzaghe also, just as people start to write him off he puts on an amazing performance. I think Joe has astyle to beat Kessler, he does have a bit wear and tear but he still has that speed and he performs at his best in big fights. He'd have to constantly backup Kessler, stay close and fire combos, moving left and right, not allowing Kess to set up his shots. You might of noticed yesterday against Andrade, Kess usually took a second or two to plant his feet and firing that 1-2 before backing up and resetting, that was against a slow and limited Andrade with crap defence.

|This fight has to happen :grins:

venue?......

that`s why i only half-jokingly suggested vegas......

i`d love to see this at a neutral....but,it ain`t happening....

and to be honest,if i handled EITHER guy,i wouldn`t fight in the other guy`s hometown.....

no way....

i heard someone on the broadcast say that andrade got $500,000 for that fight?....

if that`s the case, you wonder what kessler got.....

neither guy would appear to need a big payday badly enough to risk their legacy....

What impressed me most was Andrade. He wasnt even wobbled and he took at least one big four punch combo in every round and that with an open mouth and he didnt even look damaged after the fight. Amazing. ANd he was still believing in his self even after 10.
Andrade is a top ten fighter. Kessler is simple in another league.
I believe Kessler wants Joe bad and he is willing to travel and he is correct in doing it. Thats the fight which everybody wants to see except Calzaghe.
Even if he loses so what ? He def makes a lot of money and then REMATCH. Someone posted that Kessler never has lost a round on all three scorecards.

By the way did someone catch some Vitali at -185 ?
