Hey guys - thought i would continue to post some key stats as to how the outcomes of the games through the first 6 weeks of the NFL season have gone...
This has been a very tough season to cap - as the Dogs never really took over too much - Faves still dominating - especially the Road Faves...
Good luck & let's keep up the good work & make the next few weeks even better!
2003 YTD Key Statistics Through NFL Week 6:
Favorites ATS Record: 48W - 38L - 2T 55.8%
*** wow - faves still covering at a good rate - not good for us dog players!
Dogs ATS Record: 38W - 48L - 2T 44.2%
*** dogs not barking loud enough!
Home Favorites ATS Record: 32W - 33L - 2T 49.2%
***home faves not performing well
Home Dogs ATS Record: 4W - 16L 20.0%
***I thought we would see more home dogs covering in the past few weeks - the fact remains that so far in this young NFL season Home Dogs have become the worst bet you can make - very surprising
Road Favorites ATS Record: 16W - 4L 80.0%
***this is the biggest surprise stat of the season - who would have thought through 6 weeks 80% of road favorites would have covered?... i think the answer is NOBODY!...I keep waiting for the road favorites to start losing against the spread - but Road Faves have been the best bet so far this year...and this weekend w/ Dallas, TB, and KC as road faves - i can see some more Road Faves covering - during this NFL season teams seem to be traveling better & coming out to play every week - not many letdowns in games they should win on the road...
# of games that went over thus far = 41 46.6%
# of games that went under thus far = 47 53.4%
***scoring went up a tad over the past few weeks - still unders dominating
Straight Up home team record: 52W - 36L 59.1%
***home teams doing better over the past 2 weeks...
Well, there you have it - some key stats for the first 6 weeks of the season...can the Road Favorites continue to win at this pace? I keep trying to doubt the Road Faves - but they keep delivering!
Feel free to add key stats, trends, thoughts, or things you have come away with during the first 6 weeks of the NFL season....
As always - good luck to all!
