I used to love KFC as a kid however their food now is complete shit. Everything. Does anyone else taste and see the dramatic difference? I seriously couldn't even eat it. Where do you go for fried chicken? I like this place called mrs knots right outside of knottsberry farm... (haven't been there in years) or this place called the serving spoon.... serving spoon might be in my top ten favorite places to eat here in la.... I could go for some smothered pork chops in gravy and mac n cheese from Dulans right now.... dulans is good too damit

I used to like their spicy crispy about 1985ish. I would always get the spicy crispy wing meal for lunch. Their biscuits are always good. I ate there twice in about the last 20-25 years with one time a few weeks back and got the Nashville chicken. I'm done with KFC forevers.

Ya I've heard of Kroger.... Albertsons and stater bros makes some decent fried chicken.... I like it, it's cheap and like you said you can tell them to drop a fresh batch.... I watched a YouTube video that was sayin all the shit KFC doesn't sell that day they save it for the next....

There was place like that in New Orleans... brothers fried chicken.... do they have meat pies ? Meat pies at brothers were dam good.

Some years ago, KFC slightly changed their recipe to make it more "healthy".
I believe they took the MSG out.....it went to shit.
Back in the early 60's, their home-made gravy was made with drippings from the cooked chicken....it was a treat when dad brought home a bucket, biscuits with real butter, creamy slaw, and tasty taters.....
Now its like every other chain, dumbed down and a shadow of what it was.
My buddy Matt worked at KFC when crispy was introduced.
He claimed when they daily checked the cooking grease, they almost NEVER had to add more lard to the original cooking vats.
The crispy was a sponge, always adding volumes of lard, he ate it once and stuck with original.
