Just read that KIMBO will be fighting next on Showtime Feb, 16th, they haven't announced who he is fighting yet but it good to see him fighting already since his last fight didn't even last a minute

I like Kimbo, he brings it all to the ring but that last fight was a joke. I'm not going to say it was rigged but good Lord could he have at least let Kimbo hit him a few times.

It's too bad for Kimbo that he didn't get started in this earlier, he would be HUGE if he had. The guy is a movie character come to life. I didn't like him when he was backyard fighting and then came to MMA but since Bas has talked about how hard he works and you can't get him to leave, that was enough for me. I appreciate anyone who is willing to be the hardest worker.

.

I will say it, it was rigged. Cmon Lay you can admit it. When a guy is tapping before he hits the floor :mj07: something is strange. that was as bad as some of those Bob Sapp fix jobs. I wonder how many fights Kimbo is allowed to have before someone is actually alllowed to hit him? As a matter of fact Lay the one emotioncon or whatever they call them on this site looks just like that guy who fought KImbo. Look at it closely. Here it is. the green one. Look at him tapping and laughing. -----> :142smilie

If you see the classic fight with Kimbo where that cop Gannon gets him in that guillotine, you'll see what it takes to beat this guy. I'm not completely sold on him anyway. He won against an old ex-boxing Ray Mercer, and against a guy Bo Cantrell who I think fixed the fight.

I'd like to see more before I'm convinced he will even be a threat, yet alot contend.

Bucs, don't get me wrong. I think he would get tooled my any descent guys but I like the hype he brings. I'll say this, I don't think that same thing would happen against Gannon again. He had zero traingin in MMA before that so you can't blame him for being caught in the choke. I don't think he will ever be anything big as far as belts or high rankings go but he for sure will sell some tickets and if somehow he can beat someone that is on a higher level then he will be a marketers dream. One thing we know, it only takes one hit in mma and he does know how to hit. If he can get his sub defense up to par he will be fun to watch.

I do know that Gannon has MMA experience, he got pretty roughed up in that fight, but it happens when you fight with bare knuckles.

Anyways, I also too like how he brings it, but his cardio is something he's gonna have to work on. He'll also need to work on his ground game significantly. I don't tihnk he's got ANY experience there. I hope he does well, because he could be good for the sport, if it's done the right way.

Did you see Gannons face?
Now that is one tough cop who can take an arse kicking and keep on ticking (although he did get the shit kicked out of him in UFC).

I also seen Kimbo getting decked unexpectedly by one of the bouncer types in one of his backyard fights.

the best part about KIMBO is he fights on ShowtimeHD, he alone is worth the $9 a month,

much better than paying the freakin $50 that Directv charges to watch the UFC in HD

i read that NBC is pushing hard to team up with the UFC, ever since the writers strike they have been trying to get something worked out to get this done, they want to sign a long term contract to keep the UFC only on NBC, that would be great, as much as i love the fight game its not cheap, watching all these fights.

gotta love mark cuban and HDNets,

anyone else catch InsideMMA on friday nites on HDNets, been watching it for 2 months, pretty good show,
