Nash just makes average/below average players look really good when he played with them. Thus the elevated status of players such as Quentin Richardson, Amare Stoudemire, Shawn Marion, and even Joe Johnson. Of all these thought, Stoudemire is the most unable to thrive without Nash.

Chandler a FAR superior player.

Totally agree. Stoudemire is one of the most overrated players of the last decade.

Also, like the Grinch before his Christmas miracle, Stoudemire's heart is two sizes too small.

Stoudemire enters the game in the third quarter with the Knicks up 69-63. Someone in my twitter feed says - "Stoudemire back in, now watch the run the Wizards go on." They go on 9-0 run, nice call buddy.

The Pacers welcome Stoudemire back to the floor tonight! The Knicks are 16-13 SU with Stoudemire averaging 23.5 minutes off the bench during the regular season (37-15 without him), and their late-season great play came when he was back in rehab. In the two games he played against the Pacers this season, the Knicks lost by almost 20 ppg average and put up only 83.5 points.

Mike Woodson has said that Stoudemire will be limited to around 10 minutes in Game 3.

Woodson still confident with Amare:

?That didn't hurt us,? Woodson said. ?Last time I checked, we won the third and fourth. It was a tie I think in the fourth quarter so we outscored them the second half. That didn't hurt us. The game was lost I thought in the second quarter.

?He's only played the 10 to 12 minutes he's played each game,? Woodson added. ?And his minutes have been pretty positive.?

Of the nine Knicks players that have averaged over 10 minutes in games played, his net rating is the lowest at -14.6, and their defense is the worst when he plays, 108.6 ppp. Of course, Prigioni has the highest net at 16 and he hardly sniffed the floor in the last game.
