I woke up this morning to this tragedy, and i am a hardcore Kobe fan... born and raised in LA. I am in total disbelief right now. His daughter being on the plane as well... I am totally speechless. I told my mom right when I found out and she screamed in disbelief. RIP

NTSB determined they were ONLY 20-30 feet below the mountain top. Holy fuck this makes it all so much worse they were that close to avoiding death. Still sick.:facepalm:
