The red-hot Phoenix Suns tonight host a well-rested Lakers team seeking it's third straight win.

The Suns are 20-12 SU and 15-16 ATS this season, having failed to cover just 2 of their last 12 games. Phoenix has won 7 straight home games and is coming off a 96-78 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday. Look out for forward Amare Stoudemire who is staking his claim for Rookie of the Year Honors with three straight double-double's.

The Lakers are 13-19 SU and a horrible 12-20 ATS this season. They have been especially poor on the road, covering just 6 of 17 games. Although they have won their last two road games SU they were against the lowly Nuggets and Raptors. Before that they had lost consecutive road games at Philadelphia, New Jersey, Minnesota, Golden State and Utah by an average of 11 points. In fact they haven't beaten a winning team anywhere since December 15.

The last 3 times these teams have met in Phoenix the Suns have won by 12 points (twice) and 21 points.

Tonight we see excellent value in the line at Phoenix -1 and expect them to win by 5-8 points.

Recommended Play: Phoenix Suns -1
