Baylor 14.5 over Iowa ****
A month ago I did say here [not sure of exact quote,Please no one go back and look it up} This was after sitting in row 1 right behind the Texas bench " that no way Baylor is the No 1 womans team in the country, they don't have the gds ...they have the 2 twin towers but in the NCAA's the gds can't shoot from the outside.." something like that but I think I was wrong..the 2 hi-low offense with Cox and Kalani are almost impossible to stop...Kim bring Cox up and Kalani posts low..Kalani can shoot left or right handed but is a amazing passer inside..Cox at the top loves to get her entry pass to Kalani down low,, But Cox can drive and has a sweet jumper..there gds are good and can hit that mid range shot all day..In there win vs a good South Carolina the other day there gds only hit a few 3's ...they don't shoot them because they don't need to shoot them.. I was right 6 weeks ago..these ladies aren't 3 pt shooters.. but I am so influenced by 3 pt shooters especially in womans hoops that I saw this as a major weakness for the Bears...I'm wrong, there gds in transition are the best in the country... Lady bears transition game after the biggies kick out the ball are always in a 2-1,3-2 position...and when they don't have the layup they wait for the secondary break with Kalani and Cox coming..that is why they are the No 1 seed and have 30 wins...they do play defense very well and control the paint..dominate the paint ...
Iowa has one of the best post players in the country in Gustafson who leads the nation in scoring..get her the ball inside and she has great moves righty or her natural left...soft touch inside ...but not sure if Cox gds her or Kalani Brown ...I'm sure Iowa wants to get the 2 bigs in foul trouble..the key to this game is the entry pass..Iowa in the past gets in her the ball down low..think Baylor gds are more athletic and quick and make Gustaaf come uo higher to get an entry pass.. Gustaf has a nice short lefty jumper when she flashes up but think one of the biggie Bears will be with her..
think last yrs Ore St sweet 16 upset is on the Bears mind...they won't let that happen again esp since they have been No 1 womans team in the country for the past 2 months..last yr Iowa was knocked out in the 1st round so that also has to be on their minds . Bears return there top 6 players from last yr..think they slow down Gustaf which will be enough...and Gustaf and co have to figure out how to stop Cox and Brown.. again transition is the key tonite. and don't think Iowa has the defense to stop the Bears..

Notre Dame -10 over Stanford **
Muffet vs Trish both in the hall of fame... one has 900 wins the other 1,000..Cards have won but struggled in its last 2 wins..still see Ogunbowale hitting that 3 vs Miss St..and she did it in the game before..but she has game and ND has so many gds don't think Stanford can stay with them ..
