Baylor -3 over Notre Dame *
Tough game to capp... Baylor has been No 1 for almost 3 months they have the best hi-low post players in the country...they have athletic gds that cannot shoot from the 3..they can shoot mid-range jumpers and are deadly in transition basketball...great defense...but for the 1st time they are seeing a great post player in Shepard...she can score,rebound and pass...and Young and Ogun are the 2 best gd tandems in womens hoops..they are defending champs and there girls have been here last yr..Baylor was tested vs Oregon and that was good...they have been rolling over teams so there is little pressure at the end of games...not sure why teams wouldn't play a tight zone vs the Bears and stop Cox and Kalani..we know the Bears gds are ranked 345 out of 347 in 3 pt shooting..but teams have done that and still got beat..this should be a great game and ND could easily run away with it with Young and Ougun..but am taking the Lady Bears for a small play.....think both national champions are coming from Texas this year...
Yesterday was a sad day..in the morning after I play racquetball I go to a Valerro where I buy my Dallas Morning News and play lotto .. I have got to know the manager Sharonna for the past few years...as I was on line she was carry on in a conversation with the guy that delivers Frito Lays as he was filling up the shelves about 10 feet away...they were talking about Rhonda and Rick Flairs daughter etc.. I figured they were taking about some HS friends and realized Sharonna is from Lubbock ...I asked sharonna is from Lubbock.. she said no " we are talking about the WWE Sunday ... I started laughing and told the Frito Lay guy " I hope you know all this is rigged " He laughed with Sharrona and then it happened.. As I was walking out I looked back at the 2 of them and said " ya'll are both crazy"...as I got to the door I realized what I said.. Did I say Ya'll....nooooooo..I went back to the register and asked sharonna did I say " ya'll....she said you did...OMG I promised myself I would never ever say ya'll
It was a sad day...good luck tonite really mixed on this game playing more with my heart ...small play
