I'm sure the tennis followers here saw the Henin/Zheng "match".

Ya think Henin is ready for the Big Porker on Sat?

Ah, I do! :00hour

:mj07: :mj07: Couldn't help but notice her...beastlyness. It could easily catch up with her if it's a gruelling 3 setter. Henin is much sharper than Na Li.

Tough call in this one.
Henin likes to creep in and pounce on peoples serves but can't do that to Serena.
That said I still think Serena is in trouble in this one.

Serena has never won in Australia in an even numbered year. She's tired and injured, Henin is fresh and fit. Henin has no fear of Serena, unlike a lot of the players on the tour. Have to go with Justine here. :00hour

If you only watched the two women's semi-finals then you would cash advance your credit cards, go to your banker, empty your account, mortgage your house, take all of that money and lay it down on Henin expecting an easy win.

Expecting Serena to come out against Na Li how she finished against Azarenka might have been unfair but she did. Na Li is a notorious slow starter and maybe Serena, lulled into a false sense of security, took her foot of the accelerator a bit and Na Li was able to come back and force a first set tie-break. Another point is that Serena simply could have been a bit beat up from her match with Azarenka the same way that Henin was beat up after her match against Dementieva.

Henin started the tournament with a comfortable win against Kirsten Flipkens and she followed that up with a win against Elena Dementieva. Her match against Dementieva possibly was the best two set match I ever have seen. It was a fairly close match and both women had a considerable amount of trouble with their serves. Henin admitted that her match with Dementieva had drained her of a lot of energy and because it was the late match she felt tired before and while playing Kleybanova who gave Henin a very stern test. Alisa Kleybanova took the opening set from Henin but Henin easily took the next two sets. Henin?s serve did not look very solid but her aggressive nature to attack the net continued to pay dividends. Honestly I have been surprised not only that Henin has been allowed to get to the net as much as she has but that she has had so much success at the net.

Serena has the same bandaging as she has had all week, but is moving a lot more sharper than she was against Li Na and looks visibly fresher.

She also said pre-match that she would actually prefer to have the doubles match as a "warm up" for the singles final rather than the day off; "...at least i get to work on some serves, and returns, and get in the rhythm again. I'm looking forward to it, plus I love my sleep so the 3.00(pm) start doesn't bother me and this should do me well for the match with Justine", she said.

SERENA WILLIAMS -110 5.5 UNITS

Fun fact regarding the Men's Final...

Roger Federer won his first major in 2003 at Wimbledon. It was his 17th Major and he was 22 years old.

On Sunday Andy Murray will be playing his 17th Major and he is 22 years old.

I only got this far when reading this and got a little tired. Good luck with the play, WW.
