I watched most of the 1st semifinal the other night when S Caro pulled away...
and the frantic finish between Stanf/Conn.
I've seen only a few mins during the reg season of any women's gms...
Based on observation:
Conn's post player barely hit the rim most shot attempts... BIG advantage to S. Carolina there...
Not sure who backup is for UConn at post, but I wouldn't be surprised if SCar feeds the post and gets Conn gal in foul trouble early...
The blonde gal on Conn hit several "tough shots"... no doubt about it, she's great!
I saw yyz's post about Conn NEVer losing a title gm (15-0)... Gino's team doesn't make a lot of mistakes..
AND they can shoot FTs down the stretch should they get the chance..
However...
Due to what I see as a HUGE advantage in the post, I like S. Caro ML...
would Not be surprised at all if Conn covers the 4.5!!
