The San Antonio Spurs will appreciate being back at home tonight when they host the Lakers in Game 5 of the Western Conference semi-finals.

San Antonio are a dominating 37-9 SU at home this season while the Lakers are just 21-25 on the road. The Spurs will be expecting a much better deal from the zebras in this one following some questionable refereeing in Games 3 and 4. Not only did San Antonio's big men get in foul trouble early at the Staples Center but the Lakers went to the line an amazing 35 more times than their opponents...don't expect them to get anything like that tonight at the new SBC Center.

Phil Jackson will be back on the bench tonight just 3 days after undergoing emergency heart surgery. It's questionable whether role players Devean George and Derek Fisher will have such strong contributions as in Games 3 and 4 and that would leave Kobe and Shaq with too much to do. The Lakers entire bench have only got into double figures once this series and that's an unhealthy lack of depth for a team with Championship aspirations.

Despite the Lakers previous heroics we firmly believe that the Spurs are the better all-round TEAM and they desperately need to win tonight before Thursday's Game 6 back in LA.

San Antonio have beaten LA in four straight home games and have covered 8 of the last 10 in this series overall...we will ride them tonight to once again win and cover.
