Despite some of his antics, i feel he fits into the Lakers system better than Dwight and he can shoot FT a lot better. I'm not saying Bynum is better, but as i said, he fits in better.

Why again? Bynum ain't played a lick yet and he is an all about "ME" player and nothing about "WE". He won't do squat for Philly and there is time that the Lakers could trade for someone before or around AllStar break which is coming up quickly. They should have brought in Igoudala and got rid of Pao!

Maybe they can get Dirk from the Mavs!!?

Has Dwight helped the Lakers this season? The only good thing about the trade imo is they have a healthy player. I still would prefer Bynum, injured and starting the season over.

That is not an option and Dwight came back early from a serious injury. Today 26 rebounds and 6 of 7. This is not productive?

Disagree as a Lakers fan. Bynum is a toxic personality that is an injury-prone mess. I like Howard's energy and think the Lakers have a better chance in the playoffs with him than with Bynum.

Whatever they are doing, it is not working. At this point, the Lakers aren't even sniffing the playoffs, so something is going to have to change soon. Whether or not D'Antoni is the right fit really doesn't matter now. They already fired one coach, they can't fire D'Antoni right now - it obviously is not a coaching issue. Where to move on from there? Personnel. Most obvious problem? Howard.

Great pts Hash & Hippo!

Howard was a problem in Orlando and he's going to be a problem in LA, and he's not even been there a year yet, LOL!!

We have to remember back in the 70's, the Lakers had a center by the name of Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain, anyone remember him? Anyways, look up Wilt's Free throw %, it was pretty bad and he got hacked just as much as Howard does

Don't even have to go back that far in Lakers history. Who could forget Hack-a-Shaq?

I wouldn't mind seeing Howard traded. Lopez would be a nice fit. The problem is like Bryant says, "We're old as shit!" They don't have the energy to bring it night after night, especially at the defensive end. I think they squeak into the playoffs and then become every other team's worst nightmare. Because if the play to their potential, they will be one of the more dangerous playoff teams.
