What's the typical maximum bet that a Vegas sportsbook will accept on an NFL teaser? Also, are there any different rules or payouts for teasers that affect the 3 or 7 lines? (for example 7 pt teaser from - 3 1/2 to + 3 1/2 or 6 pt teaser from - 8 1/2 to -2 1/2) I noticed that some of the online books are now paying less for teasers that affect the 3 or 7 lines and are lowering the limits on teasers. I was thinking that it may be to my advantage to travel to Vegas if I want to make a large teaser bet. Thoughts?

Thanks. I called the M and it refused to answer my two questions. What a joke. I didn't call the Hilton as I know it has poor payout odds on teasers.

Last year I was in Vegas for Thanksgiving and tried to bet $500.00 on a longshot parlay at Flamingo and the sportsbook wouldn't take the bet. It would only let me bet $200.00 on it. What a joke. I am just wondeing if I would get the same treatment trying to bet $10,000 or so on a teaser. It's hard to find somewhere that will take that kind of bet and give you a decent payout on it especially if you are moving the line on or off of 3.

That is beyond stupid.

Why would they not answer a simple question?

It isn't like you are asking for their balance sheet:facepalm:

i cant beleive they wouldnt accept a $500 wager on a longshot pony!

They are called longshots for reason

Did the horse win? IF so they saved a lot of money but if the horse lost they just blew $500 income!
