I have had such a great time here and have met some really cool friends but after the stuff that happened today with my plays I just can't do this. I love the site and will be observing but I am drained from the capping and just the harsh losses. The wins are nice but the way I have lost some games has just really gotten my heart out of it. So this will be my last post for the time being and maybe after a break I will feel like coming back but right now I am at a low and I don't when or if I will be back....


Jack, IE, Tiger, Fletcher, Mama, Cow, Volfan, Neemer, and the list could go on forever.... I thank you for insight and your friendship. This past two years have been great.

breaks are good and need them in baseball its a grind friends get at each other and they dont mean it,but baseball takes allot out of you,i will be resting after sunday,just think how ie and tiger and jack feel,nothing against anyone but ie has to just go nuts at time doing the data bases watching us with jack thats allot of work same witht and the daily rcaps. so enjoy and you will know when its time to feel fresh.

Take a vacation and reevaluate what you want to accomplish. You don't have to be bettin' on games to enjoy the numerous folks here at Madjacks. There's a lot more going on here than just betting on ballgames. But if ya do decide to go, take care and get that head of yours cleared up! Take care and if ya see Cow out there anywhere, tell him to stop by sometimes...

Lp, I appreciate the work you did on the POD contest. It sounds like you need to sit back and get ready for the pigskin. I'm not big on baseball so I pick my spots during baseball season and get ready for football and some hockey (Doesn't preseason hockey start soon

) . I find theres a lot less pressure that way.
My advice is to sit back and just be a fan again. Go to a Cubs or Whitesox game and quaff a few whatevers and relax.
Thats just my opinion I coud be wrong,OR NOT.

If I recall correctly, you are just a youngster, right? Something like 21 or so?
When I was your age, I was not nearly the handicapper that you are right now. Just take a break, gather your thoughts, and come back better than ever when you do decide to jump back in.
If you don't decide to come back to gambling, thats cool, too. But, don't be a stranger around here at Jack's. Good luck to you in whatever you decide to do.

Guys,

Thanks for the nice comments, I appreciate them very much so. And by the way I turn the Big "20" on June 25th, I think thats next monday or something but man am I getting old hee hee. Just kidding. Anyways I am gonna take some time off from actual handicapping itself until football. Perhaps I will go to a few cubs games this summer and hopefully the guys can keep there lead.....

But I have taken a position with a book for the rest of the year so I am really excited about that. Its always nice to be able to have the whole summer off now and to be working with some very reputable people and kind of get my foot in the door for the business.....

So hopefully all will be well and I am sure I will be posting a lot just not playing as much.
