got a slew of plays for tonight in some out-of-the-way places. no time for writeups but just a few words on each:

vcu -5: vcu off a home loss and still in the conference hunt; i think odu has quit.

n tex -8-: same situation, n tex off a home loss; s ala on a quick turnaround after a drubbing in the rockies and a terrible road team to boot.

penn -3-: feel like the quakers will recover tonight to keep their claim on the ivy title.

yale +1-: i loved this team last night and think the elis will continue their own quest for the ivy crown; anyway no way they should be a dog here with the tigers doing the ivy league weekend road thing.

mon st -13-: mon st also a conference power off a home loss; port st looked cooked last night.

e was +4: i been watching these guys improve since the semester break. they're shooting the eyes out right now and still believe they're in the conference race. last night was not so much that montana played well so much as portland st played awful.

cs sac -4-: both teams overtime losers last night. sac played a great game vs weber st and just fell short. the overnight trip from flagstaff to sacramento is a gruelling one and i don't believe idaho st has what it takes to play ot and then make that haul. i think they fade tonight.

morehead st -5-: mainly based on what i perceive to be the strenght of form of morehead right now - one of the best shooting teams in the country. e ill's domercant has had the flu this past week and back-to-back road games should wear on him - he's basicly their whole game.

e ky -3-: se mo blew their load last night; e ky playing much better of late, won their last four at home.

that's more games than i've played in quite a while. good luck whatever you try.
