I read a lot of upset and unhappy posts on this forum and disappointed players on here, but one thing seems to run common to them all they are all asking teams to win by a certain amount of points when all the kids care about is getting the win.
Did the illinois player know that you needed two more points to get your bet refunded, maybe but I doubt it.
How many points does a team have to go up by to avoid a back door cover if they must win by 4 to make your wager good, dont they have to get up by 8 - 10 points to create enough cushion to avoid the back door? Isn't that asking a team a lot on the road in their opponents house? Did you ever play sports? Didn't you have a certain pride in your home court and try very hard to win at home.
I read the thread where all of the members here named their schools and their major. I only went to high school and down on the farm our major was common sense. Think about it.
Those of you who I am focusing on PLEASE don't get upset as you read this, rather take this as constructive info.
NO I don't post a lot of plays myself, but I do know the ones who are good at this and I also know the sports that I am best at. This said if you go to the NBA section you won't see many if any posts by me over there. I love to cap the games myself first then see how the best players on here match up.
In closing let me say that today I also played ILL but on the money line -140 so I am a happy camper on that one, last sunday I had both sides of the INDY/MICH ST game as winners. Money line and +3.5 for Indy.
Take a look at Volfan & Tiger here and also Raymond and Fletcher but watch out for the road favorites in late season the teams have generally played each other once and adjustments are made by the lesser teams IMO. Also the inexperienced players have some game under their belts and improve as the season wears on. I know it is tempting to pick the best team that you know will win the game.
Finally DO I know it all? No way in fact that attitude is what makes a lot of players losers. I have loseing days also, but this is not a sprint it is a marathon relay race. Get rich quick ? No!
