Holy crap,
if you want to see textbook shit play, in your own end, check out the Leafs.
Pathetic.
I've been watching too many Leafs games this year and--wow--they can't get it out
of their own end if they have the puck, a second guy clear, and a defender a distance away.
Mind-boggling.
With the mediocre goaltending, as well (nevermind Anderson's lucky 1st period Monday),
I'd be surprised to see too many totals of less than 6 until they pick up a defenseman or 3.

Hendrix bless Matthews, as the Leafs still appear several years away from any type of
successful playoff run.

...and to think that just last week some people were planning the Cup parade LOL, oh how things change quickly. I agree, it can be tough to watch the mind boggling defensive play at times. Freddy needs to pick it up, I think we will be ok, but need some blue line help for sure. Whenever they do shore up that aspect of their game watch out.
