Trump promoted and organized a rally on the Capitol grounds. He got on a microphone and encouraged the attendees to march on the capitol and help Mike Pence do the right thing and not certify the election results. Many of the attendees showed up in tactical gear. They were chanting about lynching the VP. The other Republican speakers encouraged the mob to overturn the election results by force.
